‘Shit just got real’ - Says the aptly worded poster from Shellsuit Zombie (design by Spin). Morph London were an official sponsor of the Shellsuit Zombie stand at this years D&AD New Blood. It provided us with a great opportunity (excuse) to get out the studio and meet some upcoming graduate talent.
Leeds first graduating year showed some real promise with exceptional creative executions. Kingston also impressed with real attention to detail in the stand production. On the other hand ‘UCA Maidstone’ offered a un-proof read prospectus littered with spelling mistakes!
We relish the opportunity to give something back to the academic community and more importantly the students (a memory which is becoming all to distant!). Having experienced the rather daunting prospect of graduation and finding our first jobs we remember all to well what it takes to get a break in the industry. Morph London was founded on a professional relationship made whilst at university and we are now looking to offer support for next years students. Specifically we’d like to see a little more weight adding to the digital media area of the show as this year appeared to lacking any substantial impact.
Check out how the day went on ShellsuitZombie.
