Morph London recently launched the website for James Palumbo’s first novel Tomas, a “biting satire on the Age of Eurotrash”. This was part of a critically praised campaign, including animation, print and illustrations all art directed by the highly talented Simon Moore @ Baby.
Working with the wealth of assets created for the campaign we kept the website simple and in keeping with in with the striking guidelines of the brand. The crisp black and white text is only broken when viewing the brilliantly grotesque illustrations created by Neal Murren. These were animated for the campaign by Mainframe who produced surreal videos of torture, excess and murder in Cocks Away, Champagne-fuelled Jungle and Torture, Truffles & Truth.
As well as developing the website we also produced a widget for use in the campaign so that the animations can be embedded, shared and distributed.
The site can be viewed at www.tomas-book.com.
